*Our client a transportation company located in Etobicoke (427/Kipling) is looking to add Custom's Clerk to their team*

***This is a full time position no students will be considered***

Job Duties:

* Update and correct internal databases to ensure accuracy for cross-border transactions.

* Review & research customs documentation for descriptions and other applicable data.

* Finding, fixing and preventing issues or delays in cross border freight movement.

* Ensure policies & procedures are followed.

* Email correspondence both internally and externally.

* Filing of documentation.

* Other administrative duties as required.

What is offered:

* Evening Shift: Flexible with start time from 1pm or 2pm with flexibility to work overtime when required. (Wednesday and Friday busiest days and can be up to 10 hour shift)

* Pay Rate $17-$18.25 an hour based on experience plus 4% vacation pay.

* Overtime after 44 hours.

* Potential to be hired direct after probation period.

* Great team environment.

* Training on systems provided by company.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 1 year experience in custom's clerk role.

* Strong MS Office skills.

* Strong data entry skills required.

* Attention to detail required.

* Strong multi-tasking skills.

* Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

* Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

* Must have clean criminal record.
