The Operations Assistant - Quality Control role will be responsible for handling the building, maintenance and quality control for all contracts, subsequent processing of all confirmations and documentation for reservations and in providing support to all other divisions in the company in regards to the information loaded in the reservation system.
Contract loading specifically is responsible for handling the building, maintenance and quality control for all contracts and for liaising with the product managers and other relevant staff on these contracts.

Position Title:  Operations Assistant - Quality Control 

    Location: Toronto Office

    Reporting to: Operations Manager 

    Key Responsibilities 

    1. In-house training will be provided on Goway’s Reservation system in order to build and maintain contracts.
    2. Oversee and provide Quality Control on Contracts loaded in the Reservation system.
    3. Troubleshoot problems/errors for all departments when an error ticket is created.
    4. Evaluate contract loading processes and work flows, making practical recommendations for process improvements and assist with implementing and validating any process changes.
    5. Reporting on errors.
    6. Liaising with other departments to optimize load and ensure Quality Controls.
    7. Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines.
    8. Any other functions deemed necessary by the Operations Manager.
    Experience, Skills and Abilities
    • Previous experience in Travel Industry in a Contract/Operations Role.
    • Highly detail oriented with the ability to concentrate on single tasks for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to read and interpret contracts and confirmations.
    • Ability to work to deadlines.
    • Excellent Math.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to conduct Internet research.
    • Excellent verbal & written English communication skills (spelling and grammar is critical).
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
    • Maintains composure and objectivity in stressful situations and in dealing with multiple inquiries and varying management styles.
