Yard/Delivery Person (Seasonal)

Green Diamond Equipment is your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you, and we are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Yard/Delivery Person (Seasonal) at our Antigonish, NS location.

This position is full-time, seasonal.

Must have a clean, valid drivers license.

Purpose:

Independently performs maintenance of the grounds and yard duties as well as deliveries to customers. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager.

 
Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliveries of new & used equipment

• Operation of light truck and trailer

• Maintenance of the grounds

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment

• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion

• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

Qualifications:

• Experience driving light duty truck and trailer, and loading/unloading machines/equipment considered an asset
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Basic working knowledge of computers
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Valid driver's license required
