Industrial Electrician

Company Overview:

We are a global leader in the manufacture and supply of polymers (nylon) and polymer compounds. We currently have an opening for an Industrial Electrician, at our Arnprior ON location.  This challenging position requires a licensed electrician with at least 2 years related industrial/commercial experience in medium/low voltage power systems, motors and associated AC & DC drives, instrumentation & microprocessor-based control systems.

Schedule: 8 hours work day with rotational on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that production lines are safe and operational
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, motors, generators, and other machinery.
• Troubleshoot damaged equipment
• Replace any faulty parts
• Utilize electrical equipment to create new products.
• Plan installations, such as wiring and lighting systems.
• Listen to and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and wiring diagrams

Qualifications & Requirements:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate
• Solid understanding of electrical theory and application.
• Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (preferred)
• Driver’s License
• Ability to commute/relocate to Arnprior, ON or plan to relocate before starting work
