Snow Removal/Grounds Crew

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks during winter weather conditions
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient snow removal- Monitor weather conditions and respond accordingly to changing snowfall levels
• Performing landscape maintenance duties, such as snow removal, clearing lots, mowing, fertilizer applications, weed control, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, etc
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but no limited to bed edger’s, commercial mowers, blowers, trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, etc
• Responsible for debris and garbage from patios, emergency exits and parking lots
• Address guest questions, comments and concerns
• Minor equipment repairs such as sharpening blades
• Ensure you are working in conjunction with Health & Safety protocols and practices, and report any damages to equipment or injuries of staff to appropriate Manager immediately

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as excellent problem-solving abilities
• Respond to special guest requests with a sense of urgency in a friendly and efficient manner
• Guest-centric health & safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment

• Mechanical knowledge: Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on snow plow equipment
• Ability to maintain and operate various types of snow plow equipment
• Able to work days, weekends, early morning, evenings and holidays
• Two years’ experience in this or related field is an asset
• Willingness to work occasional overtime
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
