Product Data Coordinator
Position Summary
As a Product Data Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining product data, with a primary focus on purchase price updates and maintenance, product creation, and data updates. Your responsibilities will also include working with large sets of data, understanding the functions of an internal ERP, and demonstrating proficiency in Excel.
We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated Product Data Coordinator for our Surrey location at 8183 130th Street, who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.
Responsibilities
Purchase Price Update and Maintenance:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and verify purchase pricing information
- Update purchase prices in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and maintain purchase price records, addressing discrepancies promptly
- Establish guidelines for purchase price updates and communicate changes to relevant teams
Product Creation:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather accurate product information
- Input complete and correct product data into the ERP system
- Process new product creation requests promptly and accurately
Product Data Updates:
- Update product data to reflect changes and ensure timely entry into the ERP system
- Monitor and address data inconsistencies, aiming for standardization and accuracy
- Support data integration efforts for system synchronization
Working with Large Data Sets:
- Efficiently handle and process large volumes of data by utilizing Excel functions
- Employ data cleansing techniques to rectify inconsistencies or errors
- Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure data integrity and quality
Understanding ERP Functionality:
- Develop a deep understanding of the ERP system's functionalities for product data management
- Utilize the ERP system for data tasks, including entry, retrieval, and reporting
- Collaborate with the Product Data Team to provide feedback and improve processes and stay updated on system upgrades, enhancements, and new features
Requirements
- Previous experience in product data coordination or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including functions and formulas
- Familiarity with working with large sets of data and conducting data analysis
- Understanding of ERP systems and their functionalities, particularly in product data management
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of data cleansing and data quality control techniques is a plus
