Construction Site Superintendent

We are a successful construction and design build engineering firm, entering its 34th  year of operations, with over 60 employees in the field. We are expanding our presence in Calgary, AB and looking to add a Construction site superintendent to the team! Job Duties:

• Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Site Superintendent is responsible for providing project supervision
• Scheduling, logistics and completion of projects safely, on time and on budget
• Perform quality control functions
• Supervise all onsite aspects of the construction of large, complex, technically challenging and rewarding projects
• Plan work and document the plan via written schedules

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in industrial and commercial construction in a superintendent supervisory role
• Trade certification or relevant technical diploma
• Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling and safety regulations
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Alberta Building Code and standards, and ability to complete work with adherence to these guidelines
