Dispatch - Asset Based Fleet

We are an Asset Based carrier, and we are currently looking for a qualified individual to join our Dispatch Team.

As a Team Member, you would have your primary responsibilities, but we would train you to support the team as they will support you.

You will be responsible for coordinating and executing dispatch  and logistical plans effectively and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Long-Haul Cross Border Asset Dispatch
• Look for Freight using Load Link
• Sell/Broker Freight using Load Link
• Communicate with Drivers - HOS, Dispatch Plans, Etc..
• Handle customer and driver inquiries with professionalism and positive attitude
• Load Planning for Drivers
• Ensuring drivers and equipment are operating at desired performance levels.
• Timely Customer Communication

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of dispatching experience in cross-border freight
• Well connected and able to build strong relationships
• Strong computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of freight markets ups and downs
• Ability to multi-task (emails, dispatching, planning, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and with a team, we do not believe in micro managing
• Excellent time management
• Experience with TMW Truckmate would be considered an asset
