ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dedicated Physical Rehabilitation Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients following orthopedic surgeries, including hip fractures, hip and knee replacements. You will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, people-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides high-quality, people-centered physiotherapy care within the scope of practice for Physiotherapists in Ontario.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments, reassessments, and develops individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.
- Delivers direct client care, monitors clinical progress, and modifies interventions based on client response and goals.
- Attends interprofessional team meetings and actively contributes to collaborative care planning to support both optimal rehabilitation outcomes and effective discharge planning.
- Supervises and supports the work of Rehabilitation Assistants, ensuring safe and effective implementation of therapy plans.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education/Experience:
- A degree or equivalent from an accredited Physiotherapy program
- Current registration or eligible for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) and thorough knowledge of its Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Experience and/or a demonstrated interest in working with a diverse client population
Skills/Abilities:
- A motivated and adaptable professional with strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, people-centered care in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Excellent assessment and treatment skills are required
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and teaching skills
- Ability to complete analysis, using clinical knowledge, skill and judgement to synthesize assessment information
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently, interdependently, and collaboratively within a model of interprofessional care
- Ability to develop and maintain respectful partnerships
- Commitment to clinical excellence and leadership in Rehabilitative care
- Demonstrated commitment to People-Centred Care approach and principles
- Strong project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to use independent judgment and maintain confidentiality of records, actions, and information
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Asset:
- Membership in Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) are strongly encouraged
- Experience in the rehabilitation of clients with neurological conditions is an asset
Conditions of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
