ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Estimator to join our team.
This role is central to our repair business. The Estimator is responsible for reviewing detailed inspection reports, interpreting mechanical failures, and converting findings into accurate, competitive repair quotes. - Apply correct labour hours and shop rates based on repair complexity
- Price work to balance competitiveness and target margins
- Assess risk and uncertainty in scope and incorporate contingencies where appropriate
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope, exclusions, and lead times
- Track quote status and follow up to improve win rates
- Analyze lost jobs to refine pricing and quoting strategy
- Attend onsite meetings to determine cost and equipment required to remove and reinstall the pump
Your work directly impacts revenue, profitability, backlog quality, and customer trust.
