We're looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Interior Decorator / Sales Representative. You will be the face of our company and apart of our team. Part-time, Full time, Permanent position 

Pay: $24.00-$44.00 per hour ++++++

Expected hours:  Full time 40 hours weekly or Part time – 24 hours weekly.

Orangeville Furniture is a large prominent furniture retailer that specializes in assisting customers with furniture selection and design for their homes. We have proudly grown over the past 25 years to a large successful furniture retailer.

Job description​:

• Working as part of our team of Decorators and Administrative staff to support this multifaceted store.
• Assisting customers who want in-store and in-home design advise.
• You will be responsible for selling our high quality furniture, consulting with clients on design options, and maintaining our showroom with design / decor ideas.
• Daily opportunity for room design including scaling furniture and In Home Design Consultations.
• Inner drive and determination to sales and customer satisfaction are the key.
• Ability to show clients different design product options for their living space that ultimately translate into a sale.
• Be familiar will all products from aliened manufacturers including Private Label Brands to assists customers with their homes.
• Complete customer room floor plans.
• Have the confidence and ability to go to customers homes for interior design consultations.
• Assist with merchandising showroom to ensure a visually striking shopping experience for customers.
• Excellent eye for fabrics, leathers, patterns, and colour coordination.
• Strong sales experience.
• Strong listening & communication skills.
• Knowledge of upholstery & decor.

Experience:

• Work experience in Interior Decorating , Staging – 2 to 3 years preferred
• Furniture Retail sales: 3 years preferred

 

Licence/Certification

• Interior Decorating / Staging Certificate preferred
