Position: Framer/Carpenter

Location: Grimshaw and Peace River, Alberta

We are seeking a rough framer who can erect wood structure buildings for residential, commercial and agricultural buildings.

WHAT’s IN IT FOR YOU?

• Earn $28.00 per/hr up to $36.00 per/hr (Depends on experience and skills)

• Overtime Pay x1.5 (after 44 hours)
• Work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday only -12 hour shift) 
• 60 hour work weeks with 16 of those at 1.5x
• With overtime you can be earning over $2,400 per week
• Unemployment benefits 3 months per year (Jan-Mar)

If you're an applicant from out of province we may be able to provide a short term stay in one of our buildings. Some relocation expenses may be covered.

 WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• You must have at least 1 year of experience in the following:
• Framing Industry (Residential, Commercial and Shed)
• Working on ladders and from tall heights
• Working on Post Frame buildings
• Installation of doors and windows
• Chain saws, Tin saws, Skill saws
• You must be able to handle physical and labour-intensive tasks such as lifting, and working at heights
• You must be able to get to the main shop daily and we go to job sites in our company trucks together
• We will work on the road occasionally, but we will arrange and pay for all travel and food expenses

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience and license in safely operating a skid steer, telehandler or forklift
• Experience working on metal roofing & siding
• Certification in Carpentry
