Countertop Installer

Salary: Up to $80,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday, eight- to 10-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m., with occasional Saturday work

Expected hours: At least 35 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities

• Determine countertop layouts and installation procedures by reviewing plans, drawings and site requirements.
• Measure and mark installation guidelines to ensure accurate placement.
• Safely transport stone countertops and other valuable materials to job sites.
• Prepare and maintain materials while using specialized hand and power tools to complete installations.
• Install countertops and surfaces while protecting client property, meeting deadlines and maintaining clear, professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of countertop installation or directly related installation experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and specialized installation equipment.
• Valid driver’s licence with no major violations within the past five years and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow written and verbal instructions, solve on-site problems and work collaboratively.
• Availability to work 8 to 10 hour shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m., including occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to work safely in high-noise environments and wear available hearing protection.
