310S Mechanic / Automotive Transmission Technician

About the Company:

We are a new and used car dealership located in Scarborough, Ontario and we take pride in our vehicles and our employees.

We are currently seeking a 310S Mechanic / Automotive Transmission Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be hard working, motivated, and have a strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.

Your Tasks:

• Remove and disassemble transmission to determine cause of failure
• Reviewing and diagnosing reports and estimates of repairs
• Conduct damage, safety, and additional service inspections
• Rebuild and reinstall transmission
• Work closely with other departments, including but not limited to, service, parts, and sales
• Perform vehicle road tests to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed safely and correctly
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain an organized and safe workspace

We Require:

• 310S or Red Seal Certification
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician
• A valid G driver’s license is required in order to conduct road tests
• Prior experience working in with Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles an asset
• Talented and skilled with all aspects and level of repairs on vehicles
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills; able to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to operate within all health and safety policies and procedures
