Position Scope:

  • Part time - 20-24 hours per week
  • 2nd shift Tuesdays & Thursdays Required
    • Each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
    • Weekend Hours may vary

  • NO CUBICLE! We need someone that can move around to address problems and create solutions all over the building. So, you will stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time or for an entire work shift. You will move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

A day in the life 

Every and any day you will be asked to supply residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation. You are not expected to know all the answers but you are expected to be proactive by contacting the appropriate individual or department (e.g. Office Management, Front Desk, Maintenance, Engineering) as necessary to create solutions.  

General Responsibilities:

  1. To support the Club K Manager in the day-to day operations of the amenities and ALTA LIVING Program.
  2. Overall management of the entire Club K space including making certain that all amenities and components are always in working order.
  3. Engages residents to promote and recruit resident participation in activities, programs, and services. In addition to soliciting and reporting on resident feedback.
  4. Monitors and assists with the evaluation of fitness programs, resident activities, and services.
  5. Will need to plan, organize, and implement resident activities and events.
  6. Maintains appropriate files and records for programs, activities and service providers
  7. Ability to implement and enforce policies with all residents.
  8. Must be able to attend off-site events even if this requires work above and beyond normal office hours.

Hands-on Amenity maintenance:

  1. Maintain Gym space, sports court, party room, theater, business center, lounge areas, and pool deck amenities.
  2. Do laundry for guest suites, fitness, and pool towels.
  3. Handle all pool opening and closing tasks including annual distribution of pool rules and following pool policies and procedures, etc.

Working with Technology: This role will be expected to:

  1. Manage calendars, schedules, and communications related to resident activities and amenity rentals.
  2. Maintain Email lists, resident handbook, and materials, the creation and distribution of e-newsletters and manage satisfaction surveys.
  3. Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office products, usage of apps, and all aspects of Social Media, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.  Post-Secondary education related to health, fitness, hospitality industry is an asset.  
  • Ability to create and sustain a culture of service focused on hospitality, caring, welcoming and fun.
  • Event planning is a plus.
  • Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service are considered strong assets along with Skills using graphic design tools (Photoshop, Adobe Suite, In design, web design
