Restaurant Server: Job Brief
- The Restaurant Night Server is part of a four person service team including another server, a Hostess and a supervisor.
- Each position has its own duties however each position will be trained to cover any other position for any length of time depending on scheduling.
- The lodge is a very busy remote location serving guests from all over the world
- Your main focus is delivering excellent service to our Hotel guests
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deli duties in the day including serving customers and closing the deli
- Set up the dining room
- Serve both hotel guests and tour groups
- Make drinks
- Closing the restaurant, late guest options, and service
- cash outs
- count and submit the liquor order under the direction of the Supervisor
- identifying tour directors and Drivers to assure we are meeting the needs of their guests
Qualifications and Skills
- This position requires a well-rounded person. 1 year serving experience is required
- You will be talking to people ALL shift so you will need to be comfortable doing that.
- To work in the Restaurant you need to have good customer service skill and be able to be part of the team. Tips are pooled
- To be successful you need to be interested in learning more about high-quality restaurant service

Sunwapta is located 53km south of the small mountain town of Jasper. We’re literally in the heart of the National Park, right on one of the most scenic drives in the world, the Icefields Parkway. We provide very inexpensive accommodation at under $150/m which you can read about in our FAQ and Housing Agreement. Once you’re hired, we’ve made it easy for you to simply pack your clothes and come out.
