Fence Fabricator
Position summary
We’re looking for a self-sufficient, motivated fence fabricator for our location at 3919 N Sullivan Road who is dedicated to manufacturing various components, products and pieces of fencing based on design drawings to help us expand our fast-growing fencing business in the Spokane Valley. This is a short-term gig (approximately 2 – 3 months) at a competitive payrate.
Responsibilities
- Interpret shop drawings then layout materials
- Manufacture items via welding and other forms of assembly
- Interact with CAD draftsman to improve the cost effectiveness of manufacturing techniques
- Maximize fab shop and yard space by efficiently storing and organizing material
- Help crews load and unload job material
- Safely operate mobile equipment in the performance of job duties
- Follow all safety and environmental policies
Job requirements
- Passionate about great service & teamwork
- Able to drive a forklift is a plus or we will help you get certified
- Dedicated to health and safety
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Be a team player
- Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
