Program Manager

Our company designs & manufactures large and small complex products for the Automotive Industry focusing on light weighting and cost.


We are looking for a Program manager to join our Engineering team!


The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful launch of awarded automotive programs. The program manager will create a master timeline to assure all milestones and deliverables to the customer are met.  




  • Once design is confirmed, the program manager will order and track all equipment builds.
  • Prepare & develop quotations to fulfill customer requests; request quotations from suppliers
  • .Lead team product launch activities to assure program timing & customer requirements are met.
  • Utilize the Gate Review process to conduct team meetings & track all program milestones.
  • Coordinate multi functional design reviews to assure tooling & manufacturing capability.
  • Lead equipment builds for stamping dies, weld equipment and inspection gages.
  • Follow all tool builds to ensure on-time delivery to the plants.
  • Track all program costs to ensure program budgeting targets are being met.
  • Regularly report program budget & timing status to executive management.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the practices, ideas or concepts associated with program management.
  • Technical skills and understanding of Engineering & Design concepts are required.
  • Proficient in GD&T methodology and the basic usages.
  • Knowledge of tools such as robotic weld equipment, stamping dies, and inspection fixtures is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
